Tree of Life

By becoming our partner you help:

  •  Feed the hungry!
  •   Offer safe Christian shelter to men, women, and children!
  •   Provide God’s Word and ministry to those in our county jails!
  •    Provide hope from God’s Word to broken men and women overcoming alcoholism, drug addiction, and other idols!
  •   Your sharing shows God’s love and truth to our most desperately needy people!

The amount of your monthly gift is between you and the Lord. What is important is your faithfulness to Him and His Word regarding the poor.

As our partner, you will be among the most faithful friends of the Mission. We will recognize your monthly partnership in several ways:

  • We’ll send you a receipt acknowledging your gift, current prayer request or praises and present needs.
  •  If you’d like, you can become even more involved through a variety of unique volunteer positions.
  •  Personal tours of our facilities may be arranged by calling at (402) 362-0127
  •  You’ll be invited to special events to see how your support has helped accomplish God’s work.
  •  The Living Water Rescue Mission Annual Report will provide you with complete financial information.

6 “Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, To undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that you break every yoke? 7 Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, And that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out; When you see the naked, that you cover him, And not hide yourself from your own flesh? 8 Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily, And your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard. 9 Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; You shall cry, and He will say, ‘Here I am.’ “If you take away the yoke from your midst, The pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness, 10 If you extend your soul to the hungry And satisfy the afflicted soul, Then your light shall dawn in the darkness, And your darkness shall be as the noonday. 11 The Lord will guide you continually, And satisfy your soul in drought, And strengthen your bones; You shall be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail. 12 Those from among you Shall build the old waste places; You shall raise up the foundations of many generations; And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, The Restorer of Streets to Dwell In. 13 “If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, From doing your pleasure on My holy day, And call the Sabbath a delight, The holy day of the Lord honorable, And shall honor Him, not doing your own ways, Nor finding your own pleasure, Nor speaking your own words, 14 Then you shall delight yourself in the Lord; And I will cause you to ride on the high hills of the earth, And feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father. The mouth of the Lord has spoken.”  – Isaiah 58:6-14

12 Along the bank of the river, on this side and that, will grow all kinds of trees used for food; their leaves will not wither, and their fruit will not fail. They will bear fruit every month, because their water flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves for medicine.” – Ezekiel 47:12

1 “And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2 In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. 3 And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him.”  – Revelation 22:1-3

A day is coming when we will no longer be required to feed the hungry because God will provide for all needs.  Until that great day, God uses His people in providing for the less fortunate.  We need monthly help to cover monthly expenses so that we can provide for the continuous needs of the poor.  From all the guests of God’s rescue mission in York that will never get a chance to say this to you, THANK YOU!
